So after watching the trailer for the upcoming movie ‘Children of Men‘ decided to do a quick illustration of Clive Owen. If you have not seen the trailer click here .

I used a brush+ink sketch to do this . I dont think it looks like my regular stuff but I am really into this look these days. We will see where this will lead to.

Also let me tell you what I am totally into these days, James Chance and his projects with ‘The Contortions‘ and also ‘Teenage Jesus And The Jerks‘. His music goes under New York No Wave sound, It is like soul music come together with experimental noise/post-punk. Amazing!

After not being able to draw, going insane for couple days and questioning my talents in illustration, i guess i did something acceptable.

I have been trying to draw Daniel Craig (new james bond) and i did this ink+brush drawing of him in my sketchbook. With the excitiment of a somewhat interesting drawing i scanned it in and worked on it on photoshop with color.

Being bored haven’t been this much fun.

So me and my fellow Illustrator friend (also partner in many crimes) Daniel Krall we decided to collaborate on an Illustration together for our friend Neal’s sports website The Loss Column.

It was an interesting effort and process trying to combine both of our styles. The end product turn out to be pretty good.

Well, this is the first post and i hope you enjoy this blog thingy. I mostly hate the idea of blogs but i feel like this will keep me on my toes and working. I am going to post here as much as possible and post blogs about illustration and design that i come across and share it with you.

And here is my bob dylan illustration that i have been working on. There are somethings not right about it. I can’t figure it out. what do you think?
